NF73SE 12 centred on 761 342

A township which is partly converted to crofts (centred on NF 756 349) and which comprises thirty-four roofed, two partially roofed and ten unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, South Uist 1881, sheet l). A field-system (centred on NF 760 336) is also shown.
Seven roofed, thirty-six unroofed buildings and the remains of the field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).
