A group of shealings of a larger size, than the genertily of shealings in the Lewis - they are used in summer for housing cattle.
Name Book 1853

What may be five roofed shieling-huts, one partially roofed annotated as a ruin and one unroofed shieling-hut are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 3), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).
