What may be nine roofed shieling-huts and one unroofed shieling-hut are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 3). One circular structure which may a shieling-hut is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).
The name 'Arididhean Eorrapidh' may suggest that this is a shieling of Eoropie (Eoropaidh) crofting township (NB56NW 19).
