The ruins of a few old houses which were once occupied about 50 years age, by one family. They are surrounded by a small portion of arable ground.
Name Book 1853.

A farmstead, comprising three unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 3). Three unroofed buildings, one of which has two compartments are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
