What may be a single unroofed shieling-hut annotated 'Ruin' is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 4) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 9 January 1997.

Drystone ruins whose main features are a subcircular and rectangular structure (3 x 4m & 7 x 4m), with other alignments visible. It is unclear what this site is, which maybe an indication of reuse over time. The origins of this site maybe of some antiquity.
