What may be a single unroofed shieling-hut annotated 'Ruin' is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 4), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 9 January 1997.
Current AP's show mound with a possible sheiling on top of it. There also appears to be a causeway running from the eastern shore towards the islet; however it is lost beneath the surface of the loch.
