SABS 54: Shader River mill shown on 1st edition map (1853) NB 3803 5440
This mill is recorded on the 1st edition map (1853), along with the old millstream and dam. The stream is on a slightly different course today than it was in 1853, but the mill can still be seen, and also a structure on the opposite bank (SABS 56) in the present day croft, which may be associated with the mill and its lade and dam.
