A township, comprising thirty-three roofed buildings, at least three of which are annotated as ruins, forty-three unroofed buildings (see NB35SE 40.01, .02) and forty enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). A crofting township comprising sixty-two roofed, twenty-two unroofed buildings, enclosures and a field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
