A crofting township, comprising fifteen roofed buildings, one partially roofed and five unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 8). With a head-dyke and buildings and enclosures (see NB35SW 7.01) lying to the W of the township and two farmsteads to the N (NB35SW 7.03 and .04).
Fifty-two roofed, two partially roofed and at least twenty-two unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
