NB53SW 10.01 centred on 525 316

A crofting township comprising sixty-one roofed buildings, the majority of which have outshots, and three unroofed buildings, annotated as Ruins, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1851, sheet 28).
This site is located within the modern towns of Upper and Lower Bayble as shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).
