A farmstead comprising one unroofed building attached to a short length of wall, and a field and a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 23). The annotation Ruin is marked on the map although no building lies in that location, but this may indicate a second unroofed building.
Two unroofed buildings and the field are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
