What may be a farmstead comprising one unroofed building and a field is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Harris 1881, sheet vii). This building is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974) but four roofed buildings and a sheep wash are shown (NB 194 118).
