NB21SW 24 centred on 223 128

A township comprising five unroofed buildings, all of which are annotated as Ruins and one is T-shaped and another is L-shaped, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1855, sheet 41). Four unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

Five unroofed buildings marked as ruins, making up a township along with a head-dyke, shown on 1st edition OS map. Discrete settlement of Sgaladal Mhor, comprising four ruinous buildings and an enclosure, also depicted on OS 1st edition, lies to SW. Outlying building - previously identified as a possible shieling - also depicted at NB 2232 1187.
