What may be eight unroofed shieling-huts annotated as Ruins are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 38). One unroofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 9 July 1997

The settlement extends along the stream Allt Lite Sithinn from the sea, for about 350m. The survey recorded the southern, coastal extreme of the larger area, which consists of one smallstructure, a U-shaped, 7 x 6m hollow opening to the south-east, cut into the western slope of the stream valley, above the outlet of the stream.
