A crofting township comprising eleven roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a Corn Mill [NA92NE 1.02], one partially roofed building, which is annotated as a ruin, six unroofed buildings, two of which are L-shaped and annotated as Ruins, several enclosures and what may be two phases of head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 29). Seventeen roofed, two partially roofed, twelve unroofed buildings and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
