An unroofed building annotated as a Ruin is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 34), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 17 July 1997

A more recent rebuild of a sheiling (possibly mid 20th century) built off centre, over the site of an earlier sheiling. The earlier structure is visible to the rear (west). Both structures sit across the neck of a small promintory. A stone wall leads off from this site and terminates at the coarse of a small stream.
