What may be four unroofed shieling-huts annotated as Ruins are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1855, sheet 42). Three unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).

Four unroofed buildings marked as ruins on OS 1st edition. Large turf-covered bicameral stone structue located at NB 27510 12764, 9 x 4m externally with walls up to 1m thick and 0.7m high. Fragmentary remains of possible mill (4 x 4m overall) with outflow channel to S, lie across the burn to NW of Building 1. Small sub-rectangular shieling hut, 3 x 2m internally, located at NB 27465 12751. Heather-covered remains of a circular structure (2m internal diameter) with entrance in S located at NB 27585 12739.
