NB45NW 58.02 centred on 4470 5890

A linear crofting township, comprising twenty-three roofed, eight unroofed buildings some of which are annotated 'ruin' and sixteen enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 2). The site is overlain by the present crofting township and its field-system but five unroofed structures which may be part of the crofting township are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
