What may be one roofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1852, sheet 32). It is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973) but two unroofed buildings are marked approximately 100m to the NW at NB 2882 2599.
