What may be three roofed shieling-huts, a roofed T-shaped building, two enclosures, one of which is marked in part by pecked lines, and parts of a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1852, sheet 32). Two unroofed buildings and a length of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
