A farmstead, comprising two unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1851, sheet 20), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1985).

The ruins are annotated 'Tigh Eanraic'. There are no visible remains of this structure; however a portion of the original boundary of the farm is recorded at SMR 5017.

The Chapman / Gibb Plan of the Isle of Lewis map 1807-09, depicts the only farmstead at 'Stenish' comprising of two buildings of opposite orientation adjacent to a small river and within an enclosed area.
