What may be five unroofed shieling-huts, which are annotated as Ruins, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 23). Two unroofed buildings, one of which has two compartments, are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

Shieling
this shieling measures 5m west - east and 4m north - south. It is constructed of rough stone and stands up to 1m in height. There is a possible entrance in the east end fo the north wall measuring 1m across.
