A farmstead comprising three unroofed buildings, which are annotated as Ruins, and three enclosures, and a short length of head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 23). One unroofed, one partially roofed, three roofed buildings and an enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

At NB 04630 32251, lay an entirely grassed-over head dyke appearing as a broad, 1m wide, earth bank standing out from the east side of a hill to a height of 0.5m on a north to south alignment. To the north of the dyke, several drystone buildings, both roofed and unroofed, were incorporated into the grounds of an inhabited private house.
