Full Description

The body was recovered in May 1988 by peat cutters working the peat near Seann Tom. The remains were derived from the base of the peat cutting (the bottom third of the peat profile) and comprised articulated bone and hair (Knott 1988,13). The bones were blackened and deformed and belong to a probable male 15-18 years of age who was approximately 5'5' tall. The material remains within a laboratory in Aberdeen.
