Full Description

Probably the remains of Aignish Farm, shown on the 1st edition OS map 1851. MML 28.5.2001

Following a site visit, the remains on the ground are clearly the surviving footings of the house and steading of Aignish Farm. This building farmed the area now occupied by Aignish Township, and was presumably built directly after the Clearance of the township.
