Shieling/mill
measuring 1.2 x 2m, this rectilienar drystone construction is situated immediately to the north of a small stream that runs to the cliff, c. 25m to the west. This structure sits on the line of a dry stone wall that runs along the north side of the stream for 20m to the west and 26m to the east before crossing the wall and continuing east for a further 23m. It is possible that this wall is the dyke for a water control system for a mill and the structure is the mill that it feeds.
