Building
Situated on the highest ground on the cliffs above the north end of the Aird Uig Peninsula, within the boundary of the RAF base, this building is of stone and mortar construction. Mearuing 5m by 3.5m, it stands up to its original height of 2.5m. Consists of two chambers of equal size, the first being an open courtyard area and the second, entered from the first, was originally roofed though the roof has since been removed. It is likely that this structure was part of a radar and listening post built on this site during World War 2.
This structure is located on an older structure, the remains of which can be seen as foundations. This sub-rectilinear, cellular structure measures 3m square and has a small annex on its south side measuring 2m square.
