Full Description

Possible mediaeval building foundations: two denuded building foundations measuring approximately 8 x 6m, and 6 x 4m respectively, lie on gently sloping grassland at the NE tip of Garbh Eilean. Nearby to the SW and joined to one foundation by a low stone bank is a small square 2 c 2m enclosure conjoined to a circular cell 2.5m dia. of similar condition and age. The headland on which the foundations lie has rich fertile soil, and large 1m high by 3m wide lazy beds cover an area of about 0.4 ha. Pers. obs. and rept.
