Full Description

Rectangular structure with rounded corners, orientated E-W, measuring 11m by 4m within double-faced boulder walls c. 1m wide and up to 1m high; entrance; 1m wide, located c. 3m from W end of N wall; interior divided into 2 chambers by stone partition foundation 4m from E end provided with a central break for access. Secondary extension, 3m across internally, appended to S wall; bounded by boulder wall with rounded angles; entered only by 0.7m wide door on S wall of main structure [and this opposed to entrance on N wall, suggesting originally the building had 2 opposed entrances]. The W end of the main structure has seen secondary re-use as a bothy or shelter; the W wall has been rebuilt in cobbles and stands 1.5m high; a cross-wall lies 2m within the W wall, and is probably related.
