Full Description

Rectilinear enclosure, measuring 14m E-W by 11m within walls 0.6m wide by up to 0.6m high; double-faced boulder wall on W, N, E sides; S side formed by field wall V94; W side abuts N wall of structure V53.2 , passing through a 6m wide gap in wall V94, the enclosure is therefore secondary to V94; featureless interior.

Rectilinear structure showing two building phases. The secondary structure comprises a kiln-barn, orientated NE-SW, measuring 9m by 6m over double-faced interior walls surviving up to 1m high in places. The kiln-bowl is visible in the northern interior, and is c. 1.5m wide. The open southern chamber is entered through the E wall adjacent to the S-E corner. The kiln-barn directly overlies the northern part of an earlier 6m wide rectangular structure on the same alignment. The southernmost 4m of this structure project from the S-W side of the kiln-barn. It's boulder walls have been heavily robbed and only an inner wall face can be traced with any confidence. The structure appears to have had rounded angles and a possible 1m wide entrance is located centrally on the SW wall. No internal features could be traced. A c. 6m wide break within wall V94 has been partly blocked by the kiln-barn, although a 3m wide gap is still present immediately to the west of the structure.
