Full Description

Rectilinear structure, orientated N-S, with two phases of construction, lies c. 20m N of V59.1. Its primary phase is visible only as a rubble bank, the southern 1.5m of a structure projecting S from the secondary rebuild; it is probably the remains of the roofed building annotated on OS 1904, and an outbuilding of settlement V59.1. The structure was subsequently rebuilt as a double-faced, square-cornered structure with a 0.9m wide entrance in the E wall; overall dimensions 5m by 3m, with walls up to 1m high. No internal features are present, although the presence of a collapsed corrugated iron roof indicates a recent abandonment. It may at this time have been a shed associated with the activity of Glamaris.
