Full Description

SU 28:
Orientated from north to south this stone faced, earth cored blachhouse measures 14.5 x 7.75 metres. It has slightly apsoidal ends to the north and south and a single entrance located towards the southern end of the eastern wall.
Interpretation: This blackhouse represents the final phase of occupation of Baile B, it is located immediately to the west of dismantled house SU 30 and is likely to have been constructed using the stone from that structure. It does not appear to have been deliberately dismantled itself, but shows signs of having collapsed over time. It is generally late in form having apsoidal ends and a single entrance in one of its long walls.
