Full Description

SU 32:
Immediately to the north-east of SU 31 is the remains of a small ancillary structure or barn constructed of turf with a stone lined interior. This structure is orientated from north to south, measures 8 x 6 metres and has two possible entrances, one in the centre of the north wall and one to the south end of the east wall. The interior of this structure is obscured by collapsed wall material making it impossible to tell whether there was ever a drying kiln inserted into its interior.
Interpretation: This barn or kiln is the only such ancillary structure identified within the extent of Baile B, however it is likely that while the Baile was sill occupied the re-use of SU 29 served a similar purpose.
