Full Description

SU 40:
Located at the south-west end of a ridge running from south-west to north-east this yard is constructed of turf, linking bedrock erratics in a roughly ovoid shape measuring 15 x 18.5 metres. This yard is attached at its south-east corner to blackhouse SU 41.
Interpretation: This kale/ stack yard is part of the group of structures that forms Baile C/D and is associated directly with house SU 41 by being constructed against.
