Full Description

SU 47:
Fragmentary remains of a turf dyke form an L shape starting in the west at NF 78994 14967 and run east for 33.5 metres to NF 79028 14974 where it turns north and runs for 17.5 metres to NF 79028 14991. At that point it turns to the north-east and runs for a further 5.7 metres before becoming indeterminable.
Interpretation: This fragmentary section of turf dyke represents an element of the larger, of an earlier, field system the fell into disuse perhaps during the earlier medieval or later prehistoric periods.
