Full Description

SU 78:
This D shaped enclosure measures 13.5 metres from east to west and 7 metres in radius to the north. It is located so as to start from against a bedrock outcrop at its west end and finish at its east end amongst a group of bedrock boulders that may form the remains of second smaller enclosure measuring 6.5 x 3.2 metres. The main enclosure is constructed of stone and turf and is open along 60 % of its southern side where its wall has been robbed away.
Interpretation: This feature is likely to be a kale or stack yard related to Baile F located primarily to the east. However it may have earlier origins in the later prehistoric period.
