Full Description

SU 84:
This dyke marks the continuation of the head dyke to the south and west. Starting where its route bifurcates with that of dyke SU52 at NF 78529 14717 and running south for 110 metres to NF 78544 14609. At this point it turns to the south west and runs for 77 metres to NF 78479 14569 before running in an arc west and south for 190 metres to NF 78402 14425. From this point the head dyke turns to the west and wends a sinuous course for 106 metres to NF 78288 14387 where its course is destroyed by extnesive linear peat cutting along its line.
Interpretation: This feature may be identified ca 150 metres to the west beyond the peat cutting as dyke SU 112.
Impact Detail: A small section at the north end including the point of bifurcation with SU52, and a section in the middle between NF 78479 14569 and NF 78402 14425 fall within the area of rock extraction.
