Full Description

SU 102:
This rectilinear, irregular enclosure originates and terminates against bedrock immediately beneath and to the east of the apsoidal secondary structure attached to blackhouse SU101. Constructed of turf with orthostatic stones it measures 24 x 24 metres and encloses a large flat area immediately to the west of Bagh Mor.
Interpretation: This area may represent a kale of stack yard or a graveyard enclosure related to the high status house SU 101.
Impact Detail: Given the possibility that this feature forms part of a potentially high status house or early church some consideration should be given to the amenity impact up the general grouping by the haul road and stone extraction site.
