Full Description

SU 118:
This blackhouse is orientated from north to south and measures 14.1 x 6.9 metres. It has apsoidal north and south ends and a single entrance just to the north of the centre of its east wall. Its walls are stone faced with earth cores and stand up to 0.8 metres high. Collapsed stone work obscures much of the interior.
Interpretation: This house appears to represent the final stages of occupation in Baile K. It is located immediately to the west of the remains of two earlier houses (SU 110 and SU 119).
