Full Description

SU 151:
Running from NF 78632 14319 in the north, in a south-easterly direction for 145 metres to NF 78720 14206. At NF 78650 14301 the dyke is crossed by the southern side of SU 137, and between NF 78681 14261 and NF 78711 14225, a distance of 43 metres, its course is offset to the east by 6 metres to avoid an area of cultivation SU 155. At the north end of the line of this dyke is interrupted by peat cutting activities within enclosure SU 137, but can be seen again as dyke SU 126. To the south this feature stops and cannot be traced to the shore.
Interpretation: This dyke forms part of the enclosure around house SU 147 and may also form part of the larger radial field system. However its course cannot be traced all the way to the head dyke, and it is possible that this feature actually represents part of an earlier field system that has been re-used solely to complete the boundary.
