Full Description

SU 155:
This rectangular area of cultivation measures 29.3 x 24.5 metres and covers an area of 585 square metres. Its feannagan run from north-west to south-east and are bounded on the western side by dyke SU151 which is offset in its course to accommodate this cultivation.
Interpretation: The ralationship between this rigging and dyke SU 151 suggests that the earlier line of the dyke was altered to accommodate the location of these feannagan. This may have occured when the line of SU 151 was re-used to define the western side of the enclosure surrounding 'high status' house SU 147.
