Full Description

SU 162:
Situated to the east of blackhouse SU 161 the stone and turf remains of this blackhouse are orientated from north-east to south-west and measure 14.5 x 6.7 metres. A single entrance is located slightly to the north of the centre of the north-east wall. This building has an apsoidal northern end and a square southern end.
Impact Detail: The southern end of this feature lies directly in the line of the proposed road allowing vehicle access to the new causeway.
