Full Description

SU 198:
This small area of early feannags covers 85 square metres with rigs running from west to east for 13.5 metres. It is bounded on its east side by dyke SU 199 and on its north and south side by peat cutting.
Interpretation: This area of feannags is a continuation of cultivation Su 193 located to the north, indicating the extents of earlier cultivation on Rubha na Moine, an area which has been heavily cultivated during the late pre-crofting and crofting period.
