Full Description

E 216:
Situated on a slight rise on the north side of Rhuban this oval cairn is orientated from west to east and measures 3.8 x 2.75 metres. It consists of small boulders up to 0.3 metres in size and has a kerb running around most of its extent.
Interpretation: This cairn is one of three such sites (E 221 and 222) located in the immediate vicinity. All are thought to be prehistoric kerbed cairns, though no supporting diagnostic dating evidence has been collected from any of them.
