Full Description

E 217:
This area of clearance cairns measures ca 74 metres from east to west and 29 metres from north to south. It is situated around the highest point of Rhuban and consists of eight cairns of 1-2 metres in diameter made up of small stones. Situated in and around cultivation E 218 cairns are located at NF 78468 12223, NF 78480 12222, NF 78485 12227, NF 78483 12225, NF 78469 12216, NF 78476 12213, NF 78468 12208 and NF 78450 12204.
Interpretation: These cairns surround cultivation E 218 and appear to be located to respect feannagan in that area suggesting the two are contemporary.
