Surrounding Land Status code - C

The remains of a substantial boat naust, located on sloping ground below a rock outcrop. The western end of the naust has been eroded away at the shore line. This feature comprises of external large stones, with smaller internal stone lining and turf construction. Dimensions, width approx 6m and standing approx 0.7m in height.
The robust nature of this feature, its eroded state and its lack or recording on any maps could indicate a potential medieval date.
