Surrounding Land Status code - A Recommended Action - Monitor, survey, excavate (?) Burgess & Church 1997

Site 23: Large mound rich in shells (limpet, winkles and oysters), animal bone (cattle, horse and fish), pot and slag. Measures 40m by 20m and up to 2m high. Cook 1999, 18

Possible traces of a large round house on top of this midden, but apparently of organic materials - post settings are visible. MML 28.9.99
