This site which was recorded during the Coatal Erosion Assessment for Lewis in 1997, was not found at the location in which it was recorded. It may be equivalent to a field wall that is shown 60m to the east on the 1st edition map (1853). However, this could not be found on the ground either, and it is presumed that erosion, and modern drainage work, has obscured this feature. However, the field system of wide feannagan, associated with the farmstead (SABS 36) can be clearly seen on the ground.
