Full Description

Surrounding Land Status code - C

SABS6: Rough uneven area with scattered stones and bank of cleared stones. A bank of cleared stones in this area is the remains of a robbed or partially-cleared structure or enclosure wall and is presumed to be smr no. 6530 (blackhouses) recorded by CEAL
Barrowman 2007, 15

SABS7: This site is adjacent to SABS6 and at the same location as smr nol 6530 and may be part of it, though ephemeral.
SABS7 is a linear alignment of stones, 8m long outlining a rectangular area extending up to 4m north westwards from the weaward side of the croft fence, which truncates the alignment at an angle, south west to north east. The stones in the alignment are sub-rectangular and measure on average around 0.5 x 0.3 x 0.3m. This may be the severely eroded/cleared remains of a structure or small enclosure.
