Full Description

Surrounding Land Status code - B

This is a rectangular stone built ruined building with south facing centrally located entrance and window openings to each side. An attached boundary dyke runs west from the gable end. This appears as a later building located between the likely earlier townland settlements to the north and south. The structure is depicted as roofed on the 6" 1st ed Ordnance Survey (1853), the 2nd ed map sheet (1895) depicts the structure as roofless, however the dyke is now apparent. This structure may have been associated with North Tolsta Farm estate, prior to the division of land for crofting.
